"Natalie and Michelle were a constant source of support, guidance and reassurance during my pregnancy. They must have spent endless hours talking to me or replying to my emails and texts over the months, and it’s solely due to them that I overcame my fear of childbirth. I would recommend them to anyone!"
"As soon as my husband and I met Natalie, we knew that we wanted her to be our doula. She exuded kindness, competence, knowledge and experience. We were convinced that she would be the right person to support us through the birth whatever happened. And how right we were!
I chose to give birth at home in a birthing pool, with my husband, daughter and Natalie there to support me. Natalie and her partner Michelle were incredibly supportive of the decisions that I made with regards to this my second pregnancy. I chose not to have any scans, to resist interference during the birthing process (unless absolutely necessary) and to undertake a lotus birth. I had lovely meetings with Natalie and Michelle in the lead up to the birth and Michelle was incredibly helpful with homeopathy recommendations and hypnobirthing techniques.
On the night itself, Natalie was perfectly in tune with what I needed at any given moment. She intuitively knew if I required a cold cloth on my face, a rub of my back or squeezing my hips together to relieve the tension. After 7 hours, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy.
Natalie was also of great use postpartum. Our son had a tongue tie which could not be treated at Kingston hospital and she provided us with a comprehensive list of private practitioners who could carry out the procedure. We can't recommend Natalie highly enough and would definitely use her services again. "
"I started working with Michelle and Natalie when I was four months pregnant and their support has been absolutely invaluable. They have helped me to understand my choices and given me a really good idea about what to expect on the big day. They have also gotten me involved in positive birth groups, yoga classes and introduced me to other practitioners to help me along the journey. Having consistent support from two wonderful women has been really important and they have even somehow managed to get me looking forward to my labour in a few weeks time!"
"Having a doula made me feel safe, secure, calm and gave me the ability to trust the natural process as it was unfolding. I experienced two magical births. I would enlist Natalie and Michelle's help again and again"
"I really appreciated the opportunity to soak up your knowledge & lovely birth vibes related to labour & birth! It also really helped me to feel calmer & more centred about the aspects of the process that have been making me feel anxious, which is such a gift at this stage- thank you!”"
